Preamp Tube Bias (Cathode) Resistors

Dial in your preamp tubes!

Preamp tube cathode resistors basically bias your preamp tubes.  Having these in spec really dials in some serious tone!  It's quite common for the stock resistors to have drifted quite a bit over the years. Bringing them back to where they are supposed to be makes a significant difference in the tone and performance of your amplifier! 

This kit includes the resistors needed to DIAL in your preamp tubes.  

Since carbon comp resistors have been marked as obsolete by the major manufacturers and production has largely ceased, we have recently switched to a very high quality and excellent sounding carbon film resistor.  A good carbon film sounds spectacular (vintage Vox and Marshall amps used carbon film resistors for example), and the resistors we use are not carried by your typical 'amp parts' suppliers.  Gotta dig a bit deeper to find these!!
