Cap Can Hole Cover
This is a custom made steel plate designed to cover the hole left when you remove the cap can from a Princeton Reverb, Champ or any vintage amp with a cap can.
Modern cans are not up to my standards of tone, reliability and performance, and installing quality individual caps in place of a can brings your vintage Fender to another level.
My electrolytic recap kits for Fender models with cap cans replace the can with individual filters, and using this cover plate makes the job a lot cleaner and neater, while completely removing the can from the amp.
You do need to drill two 1/8" holes in the chassis to bolt in the plate with the two included sheet metal screws.
This plate makes the recap job much more professional and bulletproof.
