Mike Pascale, founder of Vintage Fender Amp Repair, has been working exclusively on vintage Fender amps for well over ten years. While traveling the country and playing guitar through his vintage Fender, he was extremely fortunate to become friends with and receive expert insight, advice and consultation from vintage Fender gurus such as Bill Krenard (co-founder of K&M Analog Designs aka Two-Rock), guitar master Steve Kimock, and “Lord Valve” in Denver (one of Derek Trucks’ go-to amp techs). Mike gigs regularly on both guitar and bass, so he really gets to play, hear and feel the work he does on vintage Fender amps – honing these amazing circuits to absolute perfection. He has provided vintage Fenders for use at Phil Lesh’s new venue Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael CA, and can also be seen playing there on a regular basis.

Musicians who have been heard playing vintage Fenders that Mike has set up include:

Jimmy Herring (Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic), Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes, CRB), Steve Kimock, Mike Gordon (Phish), Adam MacDougall (The Black Crowes, CRB), Jackie Greene (The Black Crowes), Tim Bluhm (The Mother Hips, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers), Greg Loiacono (The Mother Hips, Sensations), Deren Ney (Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers), Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (ALO), Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Brad Gillis (Night Ranger, Ozzy Osbourne), Scott Thunes (Frank Zappa, The Mother Hips), Brian Stoltz (Neville Brothers, Funky Meters), Brian Lesh (Terrapin Family Band, American Jubilee), Ross James (Terrapin Family Band, American Jubilee), Richard Moore (The Troggs), Scott Law (picker extraordinaire), Nathan Dale (Jackie Greene), Mike Pascale, Ryan McCaffery & Craig MacArthur (Go By Ocean) and more.
